This clothing can sometimes only be distinguished from the real uniforms by professional connoisseurs. Heritage Auctions' military experts have the knowledge and expertise to help you with this.
Cheap soldier's clothing is easy to purchase in stores or online. If you are looking for more autentic and specific items, such as pre-1945 Dutch militaria, resistance militaria or uniforms from the Dutch East Indies period, you will have to look for those through dealers in military collectibles and at auctions.
If you are specifically looking for foreign militaria such as German, Polish, English or US/American militaria from WW2, you can create a Heritage account . Because there is still quite a lot of military clothing in circulation, it can sometimes be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff. If you have been collecting militaria for a while, you will undoubtedly have developed an eye for the valuable and less valuable pieces. Army clothing that you purchase through our auctions is always original. If you want to purchase elsewhere, but you are not sure about the authenticity, we can assist you with an appraisal by e-mail. If you have an old uniform in your collection of which you want to know the commercial value, you are also very welcome at our free valuation day for militaria.
